The School For Husbands

Introducing Wendy Holden's book: The School For Husbands

School For Husbands

Men and women run on different wavelengths. Don’t you agree?

This book talks about Mark Brown, a man who spends more time at work than at home, with the sole intention of providing financial security to his family. His wife doesn’t see it that way. All she sees is her husband coming home late, forgetting her birthday, working on weekends, leaving the household chores for her to do.

Tired, emotionally drained from dealing with her men-hating co-workers as well as household task which she herself is left to do, all she wants to do is to rest, but she has to care for her child - without the help of her husband.

Her mother, who doesn’t approve of Mark, sees this as a window of opportunity to whisk her off to an ex-boyfriend turned millionaire Simon – a son-in-law who would be worthy enough for her to boast around to her friends. All she needs her daughter to do is to divorce that worthless husband of hers.

Determined, Mark signs up for the School of Husbands, where he goes through lessons of “husbandry” – to make himself a better husband to win his wife back.

Will he succeed in getting his wife back? Or will Sophie end up with her ex-boyfriend Simon?
This talks about how men don’t seem to realize that it’s the nitty-gritty stuff that subconsciously annoys their wives so much that they might be contemplating divorce.
